We're deliberately independent

We chose to publish independently not because we couldn’t navigate the traditional U.S./UK agency process—but because it wasn’t the right fit for the work we wanted to make. These books live in the cracks between satire, memoir, cultural critique, and practical advice. They’re opinionated. Occasionally unruly. Not easily slotted.

Independent publishing gives us creative control, speed, and accountability. It lets us experiment with voice, format, and ideas without sanding off the edges to satisfy a market brief or a trend report. If something works, that’s on us. If it doesn’t, that’s also on us.
